Photographic Prints FAQ's

  • What type of files do you accept? +

We can only accept 8bit per channel RGB JPEG or TIFF files only.
  • What is the difference between Straight To Print and Color Corrected? +

Straight to Print service is just that, your files are auto enqueued directly to their respective printer, there is no operator intervention, nor are your files ever looked at. Color Corrected service, your files are moved to our Digital Analyzer Workstation where your files are opened an inspected for color and density, corrections are applied if needed.
  • Do you check my files for quality and/or resolution? +

No, even if you selected Color Correction services, we do not inspect your files for defects, flaws or resolution concerns. If you feel that your file(s) might have any of these issues, please bring them to our attention in the Special Instructions section of your order and we can address this with you. Keep in mind, asking us to inspect your files for such concerns via the Straight To Print service is not available since the orders go directly to the printer. If you have any concerns with your files, please choose the Color Corrected Service.
  • Are these prints Inkjets? +

No, find this has to be one of the most asked questions we get here. Our photographic prints are silver halide prints, not inkjets. Our photographic prints are considered Digital C Prints.
  • I want a custom size not offered, how do I do this? +

Easy, sick set your image up at the size you want, then extent the canvas around the image to the size you will be ordering from us. For example, lets say you want a 13x19, set your image up as a 13x19, but then extend the canvas around your file to a 16x20 and order a 16x20 from us. Failure to follow this information will result in you getting back a print at the wrong size. If you would like us to trim the print, please let us know, there is a fee and please make sure you provide cut marks.
  • What is your return policy? +

You have 14 days from receipt of the order to request a replacement or refund. Beyond 14 days, we reserve the right to determine if a replacement is due. Please inspect your prints as soon as you receive your package and contact us immediately if there is any damage or concerns.
